LOVELY MINDFUL MAMA,
It’s a pleasure to have you here. My name is Nina-Gyana, and I am a certified GfG®-doula, yoga & meditation teacher, and mother of an amazing little boy. It is my heart‘s desire to accompany women during pregnancy, birth and afterwards into motherhood. My own pregnancy and experience of giving birth, has awakened this desire in me, and has led me on the path of Doula-hood.
Birth in its origin is natural, and in each pregnant woman lays the gift of giving birth. I am here to help you remember and trust, in your instinctive strength and inner wisdom.
What is a Doula?
The word Doula derive from Douleia (ancient greek) and means servant of women. A Doula is a woman, who is a mother herself, and someone who supports other women on their path of becoming a mother: physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. She cares for them with love, presence and motherly warmth.

There is a concept of Taoism, that I would like to share with you for your birth, its message has accompanied me in my work as a doula, in teaching yoga and meditation and in my own life.
»WEI WU WEI – DOING NOT DOING«
It means to be in flow with life, to surrender and be supported and carried by an inner force. WEI WU WEI in relation to birth means to prepare yourself to let go. To do as little as possible, to give up control and to flow with the waves of birth.
This inner state we have forgotten in our daily life, because very often we are trapped in constant ‘doing’, trying to always be super productive and optimize ourselves. But this blocks some of the magic of wei, wu, wei. What if we didn’t always push so much in life, and allowed more flow? If you like I can show you ways on how you can reconnect with your inner nature, which may give you the courage to surrender.
